 Garforth and Community: Holiday Scheme

Garforth Schools Holiday Programme 2008

The Summer Holiday Programme of Activities 2008 booklet is now ready and you can download it here as a PDF document.  You can also download a Registration and Booking form which you can print out and fill in and return to Garforth Community College Reception. Cheques should be made payable to  School Partnership Trust.

Following on from a successful pilot scheme in the Summer of 2006, the School Partnership Trust, a college-based registered charity, has been awarded funding from the Big Lottery Fund to enable it to run a holiday programme for the next two years.

The programme will run through the holidays from Easter to October half-term (inclusive).  It will be open to pupils and students in Years 6-11.  Parents in College and main feeder primary schools should have now received a letter and the booklet containing all the activities will be sent home end of February/beginning of March.

Activities will include day trips, swimming, canoeing, high-ropes, archery, mountain biking, arts/crafts, football, rounders, samba band, steel pans, aromatherapy as well as other activities.

In short, something for everyone.  The scheme is running in partnership with the College and Leeds Youth Service.  For further information about the programme, please ring:
